Multi-View Project
This was the finished product of the Term1/2 project. While I will explain each of the sections in more detail, this overview drawing had its own challenges. The main challenge was setting up the drawing in paperspace. Once you have selected the paperspace option, you will draw "windows" in the drawing in order to see the separate sections and parts. You also had to select the new title box from the online archive, I believe this title box was called ANSI-D.
Frame and Wheel sections
The Frame and Wheel sections of the drawing served as the most difficult of the bunch. In both drawings, the use of construction lines is crucial in order to transfer ideas from one side of the drawing to the other. By doing so, you can devise the actual part of the drawing without the need for dimensions. Both of these drawings also made use of different line types and shading commands.
Pin, Collar, and Shaft sections
The Pin, Collar, and Shaft sections of the drawing were relatively easy and didn't pose a threat to draw. The pin and shat parts specifically are essentially just rectangles, bu the shaft does also require the use of the chamfer command. The collar needed you to use construction lines again, but on a much simpler scale.
