September 5 - November 8
Title Block
This "drawing" was the very first thing we drew In this class on September 12, 2018. In this drawing, we learned how to use the line command and the text command. We learned how to set lines at specific angles, in this case 90 degrees, and how to set lines as specific distances. We also learned how to use the offset command, where the bottom line was translated to the top of the drawing.
Single View Drawing 1,2 and 3,4
These drawings were our first actual drawings we actually created. In drawings 1 and 2, we learned how to use the circle-by-diameter command. We also learned how to use the mirror-across-A-line command, where the top half of drawing 2 was flipped over the horizontal bellow. In drawings 3 and 4, we learned how to use the tangent-line command in order to make lines connect circles tangentially. In drawing 4, we learned how to use the circle-by-radius command, as well as how to input lines at angles other than 90 degrees.
Single view Drawing 5,6 and 6B
These two drawing introduced us to some new problems which we had to overcome. In drawings 5 and 6, We learned how to use the trim command, where circles are cut in order to create a seemingly continuous line. This was also the first time we had to introduce different line types, in this case, a center line-type. In drawing 6, we just continued our learning from the previous drawing, only with more circles and objects to cut. In drawing 6B, we didn't learn any new commands as such, but we furthered our understands by introducing a curved section with a slot of an otherwise straight object.
